Aloha,
I was asked to create this list by a friend. Today I was inspired to do so.
1. I look forward to being able to fluently speak and understand the Hawaiian language.
2. I was born in Washington, then lived in Montana, Idaho, So. California (for school), Oregon, Washington, No. California.
3. It’s fun to pay attention to the Divine messages, nudges, and synchronicities. It’s how I came to live in Hawaii.
4. I had melanoma in 1980.
5. Pet Peeve: The word “try.” You either “DO” or you “DO NOT” there is no TRY. ie – Try to touch your finger to your nose. Huh? Either you touch your nose or you don’t touch your nose.
6. I participated the Skip Barber 3-day auto racing school at Laguna Seca in 2001. What a BLAST!
7. Pet Peeve: People who say “don’t forget…”  instead of what they really want, which is to “Remember…”
8. Love open wheel auto racing. Have watched the Indy 500 auto race for a couple of decades.
9. Attended or worked at summer camp every summer for 16 years, beginning at 5 years of age (my dad was camp director).
10. I love to drive—my car, rental cars, race cars.
11. I have a 10 yo granddaughter and 4.5 yo grandson.
12. I love receiving the daily TUT (Total Unique Thoughts) every M-F. Have saved them since 2003. (http://tut.com)
13. I was adopted when I was nine days old.
14. I found my birth family in 2005, my Aunt and Uncle welcomed me with open arms.
15. Was raised an only child and found out in 2005 I have six half-brothers – zowies. Have met two of them, great people.
16. I have a Celtic harp which I’ve played in front of 100+ people.
17. I have great connection to the honu (turtles) and humpback whales here in Hawaii.
18. Sure glad my neighbors like to hear me laugh. Sound travels easily on this island and I laugh a lot – even in my out loud voice.
19. Started learning the hula at age 54, first time I ever danced. (my knees are flexible, my knees are flexible, my knees are flexible, yes they are!)
20. Have had a pet of some kind since I was in grade school—4 dogs, 3-cats, 1 chameleon lizard (picked off a tree in Texas and took it home to Montana), 2-4 turtles, 2-3 parakeets, 1-rabbit, 3-hamsters, 4-5 goldfish. Came close to having a monkey. Now there are gecko’s in my house. Do they count as pets?
21. My first career was as an Administrative Dietitian in Oregon.
22. I moved to Northern California in 2004 without having any idea where I was going to live. Ended up living on B Street in San Rafael. Every time I gave my address, it reminded me to BE rather than do.
23. Today my favorite food is Mexican. Some days it’s Italian, Chinese, or Thai. Just depends.
24. As a little girl, I’d travel a lot with my dad as he drove around the state of Montana. We’d play a game where he’d “give” me $1 million and I would write down how I’d spend it.
25. My favorite necklace is a hand carved whale made by Sammy on Oahu.
